Mercury Interactive will host an event to demonstrate the features, benefits and implementation for its customers considering migration to the Mercury Centres of Excellence on 30 September.

The Centres of Excellence are claimed to be able to harness the valuable expertise and experience that can be gained throughout your IT organisation. Entire enterprise would then be able to capitalise on applications, services and best practices with a universal high standard for quality assurance.

Mercury sums up the advantages over "point solutions" as including: greater control of the IT budget, better deadline adherence, knowledge sharing for greater efficiency, greater ability to meet business goals, automation and integration of critical IT functions, economies of scale with reduced TCO.

Speakers at the event will include delegates from Marks & Spencer and Meta Group.
