Avaya has launched three new communications products aimed at small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Avaya has launched three new communications products aimed at small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

MultiVantage Express is a set of communications applications in a single-server package, including IP telephony, messaging, contact centre and mobility programs.

On Demand is a communications service, including IP telephony, contact centre and messaging in a per-seat, per-month subscription model.

S8400 Media Server is a means to having a migration path to Avaya's Communication Manager IP telephony.

Avaya believes that SMBs are better positioned to manage risk and ensure business continuity with built-in mobility, reliability and the flexibility to meet evolving or changing business needs.

It says that the key to the needs of SMBs is the simplicity with which the communications packages can be implemented and maintained – for example, MultiVantage Express can be up and running in as little as two hours.

The products are offered through a range of purchasing options - from purchase, lease or rental, and in the case of Avaya on Demand, a 'pay as you go, pay as you grow' model.
