Intoto, a provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms, has announced new VXML gateway software for small- to medium-sized business (SMB) virtual IP PBX applications.
The company says the new VXML software platform allows companies to have in a single box converged business gateways with secure routing, secure SIP-based voice over IP (VoIP), and IP PBX functionality. The bundle includes voice XML-based applications, such as auto-attendant, voicemail and multi-party conferencing.
Intoto says that as the solution does not require external servers for these voice applications, users will get a cost-effective embedded virtual IP PBX gateway. The platform also offers VoIP security features to protect both SIP and media packets in a variety of deployment scenarios, including client-to-client, branch-to-branch, hub-and-spoke, and service provider provisioned.
In full, the platform includes a SIP-based VoIP gateway, proxy, registrar, SIP boarder gateway functionality, VoIP security, firewall, IPsec VPN, QoS/traffic management, NAT, IP routing functionality and WLan, and integrated VXML interpreter, web server and VXML application framework.
