After the excesses of Christmas, many IT directors will be thinking about doing a little bit of exercise and eating a healthier diet to shed those excess pounds.

But the new year is also a good time to think about the health of your IT systems, particularly the Web sites that are on display to the public.

To help companies along, Computer Weekly has teamed up with Internet Security Systems to offer two of our readers £10,000 of free Web security consultancy.

The Computer Weekly healthcheck will offer a comprehensive free security makeover by some of the country's leading IT security experts.

ISS's specialists will visit your company, analyse your Web sites and software for vulnerabilities and offer advice on how to improve your Web site security.

Computer Weekly will be reporting back on the issues raised, providing a benchmark for every IT department engaged in e-commerce.

The offer is open to any bricks-and-mortar or dotcom companies that use the Web for e-commerce. For more information, and to register your interest, e-mail: cwhealthcheck@rbi.co.uk
