The company says that end users can migrate seamlessly to multi-core CPUs and allow the RTOS and Linux operating systems to run unmodified on the Intel Core micro architecture, which is an industry first. Jaluna’s entry into the Intel Communications Alliance as an Affiliate member also marks the companies’ first combined effort to align engineering teams and product roadmaps to deliver outstanding performance for end users, with little to no impact on the supported operating system’s execution.
“We chose to work with Jaluna because of its focus on and technology for real-time virtualisation software for embedded devices,” reveals Steve Price, product marketing director, infrastructure processor division at Intel.
Adds Michel Gien, executive vice president of corporate development, Jaluna, “Jaluna OSware real-time virtualisation enables customers to adopt rapidly the latest technology. As an Affiliate member of the Intel Communication Alliance, we are committed to continuing our joint efforts to deliver innovative solutions to the market.”
