The Fabulous Bakin' Boys have seen online muffin sales double since its redesigned Web site went live last week.
The redesign, by e-business consultancy E-Marketing, successfully combined a more interactive approach with a large helping of humour.
Tom Russell, marketing manager for the Fabulous Bakin' Boys, believes that the success is due to the functional nature of the approach adopted by the designers.
"We had a trial site and could tell where people were falling off because certain elements were taking too long to load up. Now the material is being loaded while the visitor to the site is reading what is on offer," said Russell.
Russell predicts that if sales continue to grow at the present rate the Web will become company's second largest customer.
