Samsung Electronics has launched a mobile phone that it hopes will compete with the iPhone.
The Samsung Jet phone has a touch screen and boasts faster processing speeds than the iPhone with an 800MHz processor.
The phone supports features such as multi-task manager and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, bringing user-friendly menu navigations in a sleek and compact design.
The Jet phone is not iPhone's only challenger. Nokia started shipping its new flagship mobile computer, the N97, to more than 75 countries this month.
Along with a tilting 3.5in touch screen, qwerty keyboard and a fully customisable home screen, the Nokia N97 will offer instant access to a range of applications via Nokia's Ovi store.
