MasterCard Worldwide has selected ACI Worldwide
Solutions to support its new debit and prepaid processing
systems.
ACI's Base24-eps platform will act as the payment engine for
the
MasterCard Integrated Processing Solutions (IPS) system, which
offers banks debit network and card issuer processing services.
Base24-eps will support ATM transactions, transaction clearing
and related electronic payment functions.
MasterCard is also using
ACI Payments Manager to monitor all transaction activity,
provide customer support and manage payment settlement.
Adil Moussa, an analyst at Aite Group, said, "The integration
between ACI's Base24-eps and the MasterCard IPS platform puts a
powerful tool in the hands of banks to manage their accounts and to
differentiate themselves in today's marketplace.
"The intricacies of the MasterCard IPS platform are facilitated
by ACI's Payments Manager and put into a single connection for the
end-user."
