Social networkingsiteMySpacehas launched anapplication galleryto offer its users
direct access to developers' applications.
Users of the MySpace application gallery will be able to browse
applications and integrate them into their MySpace home page and
profile, giving them a more engaging and entertaining online
experience, said MySpace.
The MySpace home page will feature an application gallery icon
at the top of the page, so users can easily be directed to the
gallery.
An application gallery splash page is being launched with
featured applications in an effort to further promote applications
and support developers, MySpace said.
The application gallery had previously been in beta format. In
February, the MySpace
developer
platform site was created to give software developers the
chance to deeply integrate their applications with MySpace.
