transactions worldwide.
The software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform will deliver NXP
flexibility, traceability and cost reductions, said the
manufacturer.
The service covers most business transactions and will enable
NXP to effectively communicate with its customers and
suppliers.
Louis Luijten, chief information officer at NXP said, "We were
looking for a new, innovative solution and initially did not
consider a SaaS offering.
"However, Axway and Atos Origin seem very promising and provide
us with a cost effective solution, based on a pay-per-use concept,
moving in parallel with our business dynamics."
He said, "NXP can realise electronic business communication with
its current and new partners more easily, faster and more
economically than ever before."
The on-demand service will be delivered from Atos Origin's
global B2B support centres in Eindhoven, Singapore, Sao Paulo and
Mumbai.
