Users offered free mobile security platform

Mobile users are being offered a free mobile security system by AVG.

AVG Mobile Security is currently in beta, and being offered as a free download.

The system protects Symbian UIQ 3.0 platform mobile phones, and is compatible with Sony Ericsson P990i, M600i and W950i devices.

The AVG Mobile Security system features SMS anti-spam and anti-virus protection, and includes system settings for scan scheduling and creating “whitelists”, enabling users to configure the system to their needs.
