Councils drive e-learning programme

Friday 11 May 2007 05:28

Croydon, Richmond, Tower Hamlets and Westminster councils are partnering with BT to deliver e-learning materials for the Ypower Partnership for Young London programme.

The initiative will allow individual local authorities to share a managed learning service and deliver tailored learning courses to users. BT and Partnership for Young London plan to roll out the Ypower programme to other youth services across the country later in the year.

The Ypower programme enables each local authority to share in a managed learning service, delivering personalised learning.

Ypower allows managers to record individuals’ training requirements, deliver against these requirements, and track the training that has been provided.
