Business Process Management software supplier Lomardi
has built an on-demand business process improvement tool that can
be used to map an organisation’s business processes, identify
problems and suggest how to make process improvements.
Blueprint is targeted at business process improvement teams that
need to document their processes, and identify and prioritise
improvement opportunities.
Alternative tools for visually mapping business processes are
Visio and Microsoft Powerpoint.
The public beta of
Lombardi Blueprint is now available as the
latest addition to Lombardi’s business process platform suite, and
is delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The SaaS model allows
users to try out the technology and gives them a set fee, said Jim
Rudden, director of product marketing for Lombardi.
