Microsoft is releasing four security patches tomorrow,
with at least two of them deemed “critical” by the
company.
There will be one patch for the Windows operating system, with
this patch being critical, said the firm.
In addition, there will be three patches to fix problems in the
Office productivity suite.
At least one of these patches is critical, although Microsoft
would not confirm the number of critical fixes in this batch.
Critical patches are those addressing security problems that
allow remote attackers to take over users’ systems without any user
interaction.
There will also be two non-security “high priority” updates
distributed by the firm.
