Business communication solutions provider TeleWare, has
made its intelligent eXchange (iX) product is now available to
Service Providers for installation in their own premises and
co-location facilities.
The company firmly believes that telecoms costs within a
business can represent as much as 27% of operating expenditure and
so the ability to communicate efficiently and cost effectively can
determine the success of any business. TeleWare argues that for an
on-premises implementation there are additional costs associated
with the installation of IP telephony within the business.
Additionally, the business will also need to maintain its own in
house systems support team to manage the switch and associated
hardware and software, adding to implementation and deployment
costs.
Intelligent eXchange (iX) was originally launched to enterprise
in December 2004 and has been deployed in the TeleWare Hosted
co-location facilities in London for the last four months. Service
providers can now provide their end users with a hosted IP
Telephony available on a monthly charge basis, avoiding CAPEX,
establishing a known OPEX and providing solutions from a feature
rich set of Telephony services, immediately.
