Oracle has announced availability of the standalone Oracle
Business Intelligence 10g product, for addressing a full spread of
data analytical requirements.Designed to handle query, application development, reporting and
analysis, data integration and management requests, the product is
designed to be a complete business intelligence (BI) system,
without users having to piece together different components.
Oracle Business Intelligence 10g comprises Oracle Discoverer,
for query, reporting and analysis with dashboard features; Oracle
Spreadsheet Add-In, for direct access to Oracle OLAP working from
within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; and Oracle Warehouse Builder,
for robust data quality.
It also includes Oracle BI Beans for custom BI application
development.
