Antony SavvasMicrosoft has introduced a full suite of applications for its
Pocket PC personal digital assistants, which will make it easier
for PC and laptop users to use the smaller device.
At the Mobile Insights 2000 conference in the US last week,
Microsoft unveiled Pocket PC versions of e-mail package Outlook,
word-processing application Word and the spreadsheet Excel.
All the applications run on the Microsoft Windows CE OS to make
it easier for established laptop users to adopt smaller devices by
way of using a similar graphical user interface.
