Aviation support firm Alpha Airports has deployed a new e-mail protection system to protect its airport and aircraft catering business.
The firm migrated to Email Systems' e-mail protection services, replacing its previous system supplied by MessageLabs. The firm said it changed supplier on "technical and commercial grounds".
Martin Cook, group IT director at Alpha Airports, said, "We evaluated several options including our incumbent service and, on comparison, chose Email Systems due to the advanced technical functionality, the speed of its portal service and the flexibility the system provided to our business."
Email Systems will provide spam, anti-virus and content protection for the group's user base.
