HP buys Knightsbridge

Hewlett-Packard has expanded its business intelligence (BI) reach with a deal to buy Knightsbridge Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Hewlett-Packard has expanded its business intelligence (BI) reach with a deal to buy Knightsbridge Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Knightsbridge specialises in the information management area of business intelligence, datawarehousing, data integration and information quality. On completion of the acquisition in about 30 days, the business will be fully integrated into HP’s Technology Solutions Group.

“Knightsbridge advances HP’s leadership position in delivering business intelligence and datawarehouse solutions,” says John McCain, senior vice-president and general manager at HP Services.
