Companies are being offered a way to deliver SAP-based information to mobile workers without using middleware.

Australia’s Sky Technologies has appointed iQlink as the UK distributor of its Innerware SAP integration program.

As a result, iQlink has partnered with the Orange mobile network to deliver SAP to smartphones, PDAs and other mobile devices.

The SAP-certified mobile program sits within SAP, eliminating the need for middleware.

Managers can approve purchase orders, time and expenses and access stock, credit, customer and sales information while on the road, saving time and helping them to work more efficiently.

The system  is typically implemented across enterprises within one to three months, said iQlink.
