Siebel Systems is shipping Siebel CRM Professional Edition 7.8 to meet the demands of SMEs.
The CRM software integrates with familiar desktop and web applications, while also providing access to call centre functions through integration with Siebel's hosted contact centre solution.
The package comes with Siebel connectors to Microsoft Exchange and Outlook so users can access and manage Siebel contacts, appointments, and tasks from Microsoft Outlook.
Another feature is that changes made to shared customer data in one application are automatically synchronised with the other application.
The software also integrates with Microsoft SharePoint, allowing users of Microsoft's portal technology to develop personalised microsites.
In addition, the solution integrates with Siebel Contact OnDemand, providing companies with a telephone infrastructure and automated call routing facilities without having to install extra hardware or software.
The software costs from $995 (£600). Siebel is currently in the process of being acquired by Oracle.
