New SNIA ANZ chair revealed

The Storage Networking Industry Association for Australia and New Zealand has announced its new Chair.

The Board of Directors of the Storage Networking Industry Association for Australia and New Zealand today announced they have appointed Craig Scroggie as their new Chair.

Craig Scroggie is the Vice President and Managing Director for the Pacific Region of Symantec Corporation and replaces Jacob Van der Eyk, who stepped down from the post after taking a new job outside of the storage industry.

Mr Scroggie said he is "… excited to have the opportunity to lead the association on the next phase of its growth. We have a very strong Board of Directors who I look forward to working with, and a compelling value proposition to offer our members and the wider storage community as we extend our strategic plan.

"I am determined that we continue to grow our membership and provide the professionals in our region with the highest quality education and independent content to assist them in adopting new technology to manage their business data. I would also like to congratulate Jacob on his achievements in building the organisation and wish him well in his future career."
