Northern Ireland's Department for Regional Development is looking for a partner to develop an IT strategy.
The department is developing proposals for public transport reform, and wants to set up a public transport agency to help it.
It says it needs an IT strategy to support the development of intelligent transport systems, and the general "business needs" of the transport agency.
It wants a company whose lead consultant has experience of leading a "minimum of six assignments in this field".
The tender document says, "Key personnel who will responsible for providing the services will have a minimum of three years' experience of the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, to include practical experience of delivering public transportation systems and the integration of such systems and supporting infrastructure."
The tender document does not give the value of the contract or the expected duration of the work. The department is responsible for public transport, water, sewerage and roads.
