Holiday Extras, the UK provider of travel add-ons, has appointed Nilan Peiris as its new web and IT implementation director.

Peiris has joined from Accenture, where he was a senior manager, and will be responsible for developing Holiday Extras' IT and system development teams.

He will work closely with director Matthew Pack in order to deliver maximum commercial benefits to Holiday Extras. Previously, Peiris worked with Oxfam, Sainsbury's, BT and Sony.

Peiris said, "Holiday Extras has shown significant growth in the past few years, and I look forward to the challenges ahead."
