Oracle links on-demand and in-house CRM for users

Antony Savvas

Oracle has developed pre-built integration software to link its CRM on demand product and its on-premise Siebel CRM platform.

The offering allows customers to gain a single view of their hosted on-demand CRM data and data housed in the CRM silos they manage in-house.

The software shores up the CRM options Oracle offers users against the competition posed by on-demand CRM specialist Salesforce.com.

The integration software uses Oracle's Application Integration Architecture framework and its Fusion middleware offering.

Pricing for the integration software has not been disclosed by Oracle.

Oracle recently released Oracle CRM On Demand Release 15, designed to boost customers' productivity.

Oracle CRM On Demand Release 15 comes with social networking and other collaboration capabilities.
