Fujitsu has announced 150 new jobs in Northern Ireland to establish its Applications Services Centre of Excellence.
The site will be based at Timber Quay site in Londonderry where the majority of the jobs will be based. There will be 130 new jobs here and a further 30 in Belfast created, said Fujitsu.
The new positions include customer "solution architects" to design IT systems for clients, developers and specialist business and technical support professionals.
News of the jobs came as the Tokyo-based group announced a 12.6% hike in total operating profits to more than £1bn for the year, although net profits were more than halved to just more than £240m.
Sales were up by 4.5% over the previous year, said Fujitsu.
