Field Fisher Waterhouse rolls out an enterprise search platform

Warwick Ashford

London-based European law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse has implemented an enterprise search platform across its offices worldwide, improving knowledge sharing to support business growth over an increasing widespread area.

Recommind's MindServer platform was rolled out in three months to enable the law firm's global network of users to search, access and manage internal and external information sources.

"We selected MindServer because it provided our lawyers with powerful document search and legal expertise location services out of the box," said Jane Bradbury, knowledge management director at Field Fisher Waterhouse.

The law firm is using the system to identify business opportunities by identifying lawyers who have already worked with particular clients or industry sectors as well as to attract law graduates.

"Now that the 'Google generation' is entering the workplace, having a good information management tool is helping us to support our most recent entrants into the profession," said Bradbury.
