Dell has updated its Inspiron laptop range with a £250 model that is 25% smaller than previous machines.
The machine is also half a pound lighter than previous Inspiron laptops, said Dell.
The launch comes as Dell fights to take back the world number one PC supplier spot from HP, after being overtaken last year.
The 15.4in Inspiron 1525 comes with the latest Wi-Fi connection technology and optional mobile broadband, Bluetooth short-range wireless and wireless USB technologies.
Wireless mouse and external data back-up options are also being sold with the 1525.
