BT starts new telecoms supply deal with public sector

Government IT procurement organisation has signed a new framework agreement with BT.

BT said it had been placed in all 12 categories of' Telecom Networks framework agreement.

The agreement supports organisations across the UK public sector, and is worth a total of about £500m to suppliers over the next four years.

It offers pre-negotiated terms and conditions and shorter procurement cycles, which enable cost savings for public sector customers and reduced cost of sales for suppliers.
