Orange broadband customers to be offered MGM blockbusters on-demand

Film studio MGM has signed a multi-year video on demand (VOD) contract with Orange Broadband to allow its customers to download and view blockbusters.

Film studio MGM has signed a multi-year video on demand (VOD) contract with Orange Broadband to allow its customers to download and view blockbusters.

The deal will allow Orange 24/24 Video customers to view MGM films using digital TV or PCs.

MGM's films will be offered to Orange customers in France, Spain, Poland and the UK.

New films such as Casino Royale will be available along with classics such as Some like it Hot, Silence of the Lambs, Rocky and Platoon.

Prices start at less than £1 for a 24-hour rental with unlimited viewing.
