Yotel, the newly opened capsule hotel inside Heathrow Airport's Terminal 4, is using a converged network with two different digital subscriber lines to run all business applications, including IP-based CCTV, and deliver the latest technology to guests.

Each capsule has free Wi-Fi and wired workstations, digital television and a "techno wall" entertainment system. The network technology was supplied by TFM Networks.

"The multi-application network ensures we have the availability and bandwidth to handle and prioritise operations," said Nigel Buchanan, operations director at Yotel.
