Mediation organisation focusses on intellectual property

A UK mediation service provider has set up a panel to focus on intellectual property and technology disputes.

In Place of Strife's specialist panel of mediators will handle disputes related to IT and computer law, trademark and patent infringement, and unfair competition.

The panel will give organisations access to mediators around the world who specialise in IP and technology.

"This is an excellent fit with the often cross-border nature of disputes in intellectual property and technology," said Mark Jackson-Stops, founder of In Place of Strife.

He said mediation had a vital role to play in an increasingly global economy to help organisations resolve disputes cost-effectively and speedily.
