Canon has interviewed 3,000 workers across Europe to find out what frustrates them most about office life. Curiously, paper jams and epic warm up times on printers did not top the list. Instead, the chart-topper was long and pointless meetings.
Having discovered the problem, and inventively named it "admin agony", Canon must have been mightily relieved to find that it could treat the ailment with its iW360 software, which "enables users to search, collate and create documents effortlessly".
Downtime is hoping the iW360 software can ease our crushing sense of ennui, but fears that having better-collated documents will not make that difference.
