Supercomputers let down by lack of deep thought
Supercomputers have the potential to solve deeper questions, but fail to do so because
the scientists that design them lack insight, speakers at the National Science Foundation
supercomputer symposium have said.
"They do not have a broad enough world view of what they are doing computer science for," said
one professor.
The professor did not go on to propose building a supercomputer to build a supercomputer capable
of answering the deeper questions, but it cannot be far away.
