Real insurer invests real time in virtual insurance

Computer Weekly Staff

Ever worry what would happen to you if you were to have an accident in Second Life?

No, neither have we.

Nonetheless, Europ Assistance clearly feels it is an area worth exploring as it has proudly announced "the first ever assistance policy for virtual journeys in Second Life".

The policy offers "newbies" to the virtual world a guide to show them how to get around and adjust to virtual life without incurring a teleporting accident.

We recommend taking a policy out before the virtual floods hit.
