Wembley Stadium has chosen American multinational Honeywell to provide an IT call centre and maintain the IT network, as well as provide operational services support at every event.
Peter Warren, Wembley Stadium's IT and business process director said the IT maintenance and operational services support teams would oversee Wembley Stadium's widely varying day-to-day requirements.
The two new contracts follow Honeywell's installation of the venue's network services and the building, safety, and security management systems.
"Operating and maintaining a world class venue calls for a winning team and Honeywell's work at Wembley Stadium is an essential part of the mix," said Warren.
The network has been designed to facilitate IP data, voice and video communications as well as provide important external links for broadcast and other media organisations as well as to emergency services.
"Integrating all our technical systems on one common network allows our operators to make sense of a lot of information quickly," said Warren.
