Novell appoints new UK head

Novell has appointed Jacqueline de Rojas as country manager for the UK and Ireland as it strives to popularise its open source software offering.

Novell has appointed Jacqueline de Rojas as country manager for the UK and Ireland as it strives to popularise its open source software offering.

Reporting directly to Javier Colado, area general manager for EMEA West, de Rojas will oversee the full range of Novell's sales and consulting business across UK and Ireland .

“Jacqueline's strong business background and deep customer knowledge will continue to drive growth in the UK and Ireland,” said Colado.

De Rojas has held senior positions at Cartesis, Business Objects, Ascential Software, Informix Software and Computer Associates.

“I see tremendous opportunities for driving our Linux and identity, security and resource management business forward,” said de Rojas.
