Microsoft is offering a 10% discount off the Windows Vista list price to consumers and small businesses who want additional Vista licences.
Users can upgrade as many as five additional PCs with the offer, although customers should shop around as other Vista suppliers other than Microsoft can be found offering the software below the list price.
The new Windows Vista Additional Licence programme is aimed at both customers who separately bought Vista and those who received it pre-installed on a new PC.
The discounts only apply to additional equivalent versions of Vista already owned by customers.
After buying additional licences, customers get additional activation product keys which allow them to install their existing Vista DVD on extra PCs.
Microsoft previously launched the Family Discount programme, which also gives consumers cheaper additional versions of Vista.
