Lloyds TSB has hired Barclays IT director Kevin Lloyd as the new chief information officer for its Wholesale & International Banking division.
Lloyd was most recently Barclays IT director for UK banking, responsible for the full spectrum of IT services in the bank’s retail and corporate operations.

Prior to that, Lloyd spent three years as Barclays group-wide chief technology officer, with responsibility for IT strategy, architecture, policy and governance.
Lloyds TSB said Lloyd “brings extensive experience of managing and implementing major programmes in both retail and commercial financial services”.
As the CIO for Wholesale & International Banking (W&IB), Lloyd will jointly report to Truett Tate, group executive director at W&IB, and Darryl West, director of group IT.
Lloyd will sit on the bank’s group IT board and joins Lloyds TSB on 29 August.
