LPC Pharmaceuticals updates stock systems

LPC Pharmaceuticals is implementing a warehouse management system and a head office system to ensure the traceability of its products.

LPC Pharmaceuticals director Satnam Butter said, "The primary reason for installing the systems was because we needed full traceability of all our products. Our old system would not have been able to do that."

The company operates a wholesale division and 11 high street stores. The Torex Retail warehouse management system and Sage MMS head office system were introduced after it increased the size of its warehouse facility from 13,000 to 40,000 square feet.

It spent six months researching the different systems available and a further three months implementing the Torex Retail system.

Butter said the company's next IT project would be to integrate Torex Retail with the Sage system. It is also introducing Torex Retail's Visual Head Office and Visual Pos systems in its high street stores.
