Continuing its run of good performance in the UK arena, Fujitsu Services has won a £170m desktop outsourcing contract with Lloyds TSB bank.
The terms of the five-year deal specify that Fujitsu will manage all desktop technology for Lloyds’s 70,000 end-users, in offices and branches, across the high street bank’s UK operations. The Fujitsu service will include IT support, helpdesks and maintenance.

Three hundred staff from Lloyd’s existing operational teams and their incumbent suppliers will move to Fujitsu under the contract.
