Red Hat to support dual core
Red Hat will offer support for increased productivity dual-core processors in its new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 operating system.
Dual-core processors have two processing engines on a single chip to deliver increased processing while taking up less room.
The first beta update to RHEL 4 supports dual-core chips from both AMD and Intel and is part of Red Hat’s regular quarterly update to its main Linux enterprise operating system.
