Thor opens up Xellerate identity

Identity management solutions supplier Thor Technologies has announced that its Xellerate Identity Manager is now certified to run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Thor's solutions can automate the management of identities and user access privileges across all an organisation’s platforms, systems, applications and physical assets. Xellerate Identity Manager combines conceptual models with what Thor calls an intuitive interface design.

Xellerate Password Manager and Xellerate Audit and Compliance Manager package key functions of Xellerate Identity Manager into standalone offerings for organisations, such as SMEs, which don't immediately require a complete identity management solution but need a quick route to corporate goals such as regulatory or security compliance.

Thor aims to deliver identity management for all enterprises. Its provision of an open source platform for Xellerate Identity Manager is in response to the accelerating rate of migration away from proprietary platforms for key components of an IT infrastructure.

"By adding Red Hat Enterprise Linux support to Xellerate Identity Manager, we are responding to the needs of our customers, who are requesting the unparalleled flexibility and adaptability that characterise our solution across all platforms within their organisations," said John Aisien, vice-president of marketing and business development at Thor.
