Tarantella has announced free single-user licences for its Linux-based Secure Global Desktop Enterprise Edition 4, which gives users secure access to enterprise applications over the internet.

The move is designed to further promote the company’s products to businesses through key administration staff.

Steve Bannerman, Tarantella chief marketing officer, said, "The primary audience for our free single-user licence is the army of loyal system administrators who not only configure and support Enterprise Edition software within their corporate environments, but also play an instrumental role in recommending our products."

The free licence is also available to home users and remote workers. The licence has no expiry date and can be downloaded from the Tarantella website at:
