Siebel tailors CRM to suit SMEs
Customer relationship management supplier Siebel is to target small and medium-sized enterprises with sector-specific products with analytics and contact centre software built-in.
This marks a change in strategy for Siebel, which has built up a reputation in the enterprise over the past 11 years.
The company will offer SMEs a single CRM software package in the next 12 to 18 months, which will be a combination of its customisable "on-premise" CRM product and its Ondemand metered CRM service: a hosted package that is charged per seat and per month and can be scaled up and down as and when required.
