More SMEs to look offshore in 2005

The National Outsourcing Association (NOA) predicts that more smaller firms will consider offshore outsourcing during 2005.

The National Outsourcing Association (NOA) predicts that more smaller firms will consider offshore outsourcing during 2005.

 

NOA research shows that industry and government initiatives will encourage smaller firms to follow in the footsteps of larger organisations down the offshoring route.

 

Martyn Hart, chairman of the NOA said, “SME offshoring will grow. Until now it has been quite tricky for SMEs to engage in offshoring operations.

 

“However, there are industry and government plans afoot to help SMEs with education on outsourcing and offshoring, especially for developing new products, software, and electronics.”
