PeopleSoft profits restated upwards

PeopleSoft has revised its third-quarter profit upwards by $2.6m (£1.4m) to $26.2m.

PeopleSoft has revised its third-quarter profit upwards by $2.6m (£1.4m) to $26.2m.

The company said the updated earnings figure for the quarter, which ended 30 September, was the result of realising a higher tax benefit on the $6.4m charge it took to pay the severance package of chief executive Craig Conway, who was fired last month.
