IBM has integrated Enigma's 3C platform into its Automotive Dealer Collaboration portal and plans to jointly market the product.

Enigma provides car mechanics with a dynamic product encyclopedia consisting of integrated service information and parts catalogues, which will be delivered using portlets developed on IBM's WebSphere Portal technology. 

The combination of IBM's Automotive Dealer Collaboration product with Enigma's portlets is designed to strengthen after-sales relationships between car makers and dealers by automating communications and providing service and repair information. The goal is to help dealerships improve customer service while boosting revenue for the manufacturers.

Enigma's four new portlets allow companies using the IBM Dealer Collaboration portal to easily search, filter and display parts and service information. The portlets can also help users leverage existing IT investments by tying into other portlets in the IBM portal. 

Advanced features allow companies to use their existing IT systems to improve visibility of parts supplies and enhance their overall parts logistics.
