The company won awards for Best Testing/QA Tool and Best Debugging Tool with a leading US title and the white paper aims to show users how to integrate the company’s flagship Test Complete product with a test repository, Worksoft Certify, that lets testers organise their tests visually even if they are not experienced in script coding.
In the white paper, entitled “Integrating Certify with TestComplete” AutomatedQA investigates the compete of overcoming one of the biggest obstacles to successful test automation - manual testers, who are typically quality or business analysts, or even expert users who do not have the programming skills needed to implement powerful scripting languages like the ones supported by TestComplete.
Certify is a repository that allows testers to document their tests using simple point and click, and then automatically execute them through pre-written function libraries supplied by Worksoft. No coding skills are required.
These function libraries can be written in Test Complete, and they take advantage of the scripting languages while shielding non-technical users from the code itself. TestComplete’s ability to be language-independent allows Worksoft to take advantage of widely available development environments such as Visual Studio.
