The 2.2GHz and 2.26GHz chips as well as both versions of the 2.4GHz Pentium 4 processors, which employ either a 400MHz or 533MHz front-side bus, have all had their price reduced by 16% to $163 (£106). The 2.8GHz Pentium 4, has been reduced by 6% to $375 (£236) and the 3.06GHz Pentium 4 reduced to $589 (£371).

The price of the 2.4GHz Xeon with a 533MHz front-side bus is now $209 (£132), a drop of 11%, while the prices for the 2.4GHz Xeon with a 400MHz front-side bus and the 2.2GHz Xeon were both reduced to $198 (£125).
The most recent price list also includes pricing for Intel's 3.06GHz Xeon. The chip, which first appeared in Precision workstations put on sale by Dell Computer earlier this month, is priced at $722 (£455).
